When you become a member, enrol a council, share an opinion, or record a donation, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, email, and phone number.

To manage membership and participation, respond to submissions, communicate updates, and for administration and reporting.

3. Lawful basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in running Ituika.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers necessary to run the service (e.g. email delivery, hosting) and where required by law.

5. Retention

We retain data for as long as necessary and for reasonable record-keeping, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
